EASTER SUNDAY

There will be no 5:30 pm Mass on Easter Sunday
Fasting means eating only one full meal. Two smaller meals may be taken which do not equal the full meal. No food may be taken between meals. Fast days are Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Everyone between the ages of 18 and 59 are bound to the fasting obligation. Abstinence means not eating meat. Meat consumption is forbidden on Ash Wednesday and all the Fridays of Lent. This obligation begins at age 14 and has no upper limit.
Good Friday is a day of fasting, which means eating only one full meal. There is also no meat allowed on Good Friday. _______________________________________________________________________________________
